The 10/510T GP

A further addition to the 10/Series family, the new model 10/510T GP Ethernet for distributed motion control, is able to manage up to 6 axes for each module, synchronised and supervised by means of DLL libraries for Windows.

The innovative features of the new model are:

• Multi-tasking open architecture PC based motion controller with integrated PLC developed to address specific requirements of industrial automation.

• NC integrated standard Ethernet communication channel and an extensive DLL communication library allows for the implementation of distributed architecture NC; each NC can manage one or more basic working units as, for example, in rotary transfers. What's more, bi-directional Mini-DNC and standard integrated client-server functionality enable immediate program and data transfer between CNC and network connected PCs as well as trouble-shooting and monitoring of machine functionality.

• Over 400 Mbytes program archive on the integrated hard disk to manage numerous technological programs and working data in order to minimise machine stoppages.

• Integrated remote diagnostic allows for interaction with the numeric control via a modem connected PC so as to identify and possibly solve any problem occurring in the machine.

These advantages of the new 10/510T GP ETHERNET add to the innovative features common to all models of Series 10 CNC: hardware architecture based on a standard PC, object-oriented software architecture allowing customisation for specific applications, in terms of technological algorithms and man - machine interface.
