RIO Modular I/O
RIO MODULAR I/O the remote I/O system for the Sync-Motion product line.
The modular structure, where every I/O node is composed of a CANopen or Profibus bus coupler and up to 8 I/O modules, allows a specific configuration to be created according to the application requirements.
The I/O modules can be digital, analog, counters, positioning or interface for temperature sensors.
Each node is made up of a bus coupler and required RIO modules mounted on a standard DIN rail.
A common characteristic of all of the I/O modules is the high flexibility and the reduced installation and maintenance cost, due to the ability to replace the internal electronics without disconnecting cables. Additional reliability is achieved due to the spring contact connection method used instead of the more traditional screw contact.
RIO COMPACT I/O combines both Canopen interface and digital I/O in the same module.
These modules are used when the I/O number is limited or when the I/O nodes are located in various points around the plant.
Using CANopen means that distances of hundreds of meters can be covered while still maintaining a very high baud rate.
The Compact I/O gives a very good cost advantage when the number of I/O points is lower than 16.
MINI COMPACT I/O
module is an economic solution that includes in a single CANopen node 16 Input and 16 configurable Input/Output.
The module can be installed on a stadard DIN bar in the cabinet or panel mounted. The I/O wiring is made via D-shell connectors located on the front side.
The Mini Compact module also offers separated and optoisolated power supply for the CANopen, leds for quick diagnostic and selectors for the quick setting of the node number and baud rate.
