OS3 Analogue

OS3CAN the new line of servo drives by OSAI, was designed especially for Industrial Automation applications such as: robots, textile machines, packaging machines, pallettisers and many other applications where price / performance ratio must match flexibility and easy to use requirements.

OS3CANThe 230VAC (VFD300FC series) product line, with single-phase power supply from 110 to 230V, can be combined with brush-less motors up to 4Nm. There are three different sizes: 1A, 3A, 5A rms.

The 400VAC (OS3 series) product line, with three-phase power supply from 380 to 440V, can be combined with brushless motors up to 24 Nm motors. The three different sizes available are 3A, 5A, 9A rms.
Integrated within the drives are 6 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs to manage home and limit switches and general purpose operations such as freeze position, rapid halt, start synchronisation, start jog and other functions.

OS3 motorsThe OS3 motors are sinusoidal brush-less motors, low inertia with high dynamic. They can be equipped with a holding brake when required and include a thermic sensor.

The feedback sensor is a Resolver which can be converted and output as a standard incremental encoder signal. All motors offer IP65 protection.
The torque range starts from 0,4 Nm up to 24 Nm with different speeds of 3000, 4000, 6000 rpm depending on motor size. These motors are able to provide high acceleration and deceleration: up to 110.000 rad/sec².

CANopenThis drive range can be interfaced using CANopen (according to the DSP402 profile) or an Analogue speed reference. Each module includes the control section and the power section to drive brush-less motors. The drive modules can be used as either intelligent dirves, where they are directly connected to the PC with Soft-PLC via the CANopen field-bus or as a traditional speed or torque drive in which case they are controlled using a +/- 10vdc signal.

A software configuration tool, running in the Windows environment, with easy operator interface is supplied for parameters set-up. This software also includes an easy and interactive procedure for the tuning of the system with an intergrated digital oscilloscope function available.
